Sorry for the delayed reply, as I was waiting for Matt’s post calling for link spam reports. ;)

As Matt mentions in his post “Google has been working on some new algorithms and tools to tackle linkspam” and therefore I really recommend against link buying or other bad linking practices (see also the Webmaster Guidelines).

Ignoring it with blanket statements wont help.
I appreciate thats the party political line, but everyone who makes serious money from natural does it. Listen we all love Google, like you. No SE comes close, but its a mile away from fair.
